1. Services and prices
Luke the Drone Guy provides aerial videography. A half day is 4 hours for £275 and a full day is 8 hours for £500. Prices are in pounds sterling and include flight time, safety checks, colour grading and delivery of the final files through WeTransfer. Anything extra is agreed with you before the booking is confirmed.
2. Bookings and payment
A booking is confirmed once the date, location and type of day have been agreed in writing, by message or email. Payment terms are agreed at the time of booking.
3. Cancellations and changes
Please give as much notice as you can if you need to cancel or change a booking, and I will always try to agree a new date. Where time has been reserved and cannot be re-booked, a late cancellation may be charged.
4. Weather and safety
All flying follows UK CAA rules and the pilot's decision on safety is final. If wind, rain, visibility, airspace or conditions on site make flying unsafe or unlawful, I may delay, pause or stop the shoot. If that happens we will agree a new date.
5. Site access and permissions
Please tell me early about your location and anything that might restrict flying. You are responsible for getting permission from the landowner or site manager to take off and land where needed, and for letting people on site know that filming is taking place.
6. Footage and delivery
Final files are colour graded and delivered in high quality through WeTransfer. WeTransfer links expire after a limited time, so please download your files promptly. Footage may include people, vehicles or property that are visible from public places.
7. Copyright and use
Unless agreed otherwise in writing, copyright in the footage stays with Luke the Drone Guy and you may use the final files for the purpose they were commissioned for. I may use clips in my portfolio and on social media, and will not if you ask me not to before the shoot.
8. Insurance
Flights are covered by COVERDRONE public liability insurance up to £1M. My policy number and CAA details are shown in the compliance section of this site.
9. Liability
I will carry out the work with reasonable care and skill. I am not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost business or profit. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
10. Changes and governing law
I may update these terms from time to time. The terms in force on the date of your booking apply. They are governed by the law of England and Wales.
Built for social media engagement.
Aerial footage is great for social media engagement. Short, punchy clips work as reels, stories and posts, and give your business content that stops people scrolling.
I run the digital marketing at Goat Ledge, a popular seaside beach café in St Leonards-on-Sea, and these reels are examples of what aerial video can do for a business. Tap one to watch it on Instagram.
